The full version of Ableton Live 7 went live a couple of days ago, and I upgraded immediately. I use it as my DAW, together with a Focusrite Liquid Mix to take some edge off the CPU thirst that Live sometimes can have. For me, this is the software that once made me leap from old school technology to DAW, and I really enjoy working with it. I use it in conjunction with a BCR2000 in Mackie HUI mode which I littered with small colorful labels. Guess I should put up a picture of it later – it really does the trick, and for some strange solution, I have no problems switching from faders (on my outboard mixer) to knobs for level adjustments. It’s in the wrists, people.
