Masaaki Yoshida, better known as Anchorsong, makes a live performance out of sequencing. By punching his addictive beats, chords and melodies into the sequencers of a MPC2000XL and a Triton Le live in front of a crowd, he builds his songs layer by layer, showing off not only his skills, but also how technology can be used to really boost a performance. The clip is from his recent visit to Greece, and you can catch a performance by Anchorsong in various clubs in London these days, as he moved from his native Japan to Europe recently.
